BFSU ISS in 2019 Call for Experts

Beijing Foreign Studies University is now calling for international experts for its 2019 ISS (International Summer School) Program, which is designed to provide students with an opportunity for international exposure and improve their academic competence. In July of 2016, 2017 and 2018, BFSU successfully held three sessions of ISS. In 2016, 25 courses were offered by scholars from 9 different countries, which had more than 400 Chinese and British students taking the courses. In 2017, 31 courses were offered by academics from 14 different countries, with 350 students from 17 universities. In 2018, there were 36 courses provided by professors from 14 different countries, and the number of students enrolled in this programme grew by a third to 421.

We would like kindly to invite you to take part in this Program in 2019, and you will have a chance to meet global and local professors from different educational institutions. We would also like to promote the participation of more international students in our program so as to create a platform for intercultural communication between students from home and abroad.

Field of courses

Currently we are looking for scholars who are specialized in the fields related to Sociology, Communication and Media Studies, Linguistics, Physical Health, Wellbeing on Mental Health, Creative Entrepreneurship or Art, and you can see the attached in the ‘download management’ for specific requirements of courses.
