Introduction

This course is designed to introduce fundamental principles and current trends in the field of Health and Wellbeing. Students will learn how nutritional, community and environmental factors are related to physical, and social wellbeing. The course provides an introduction to public health concepts and covers subjects such as nutritional health determinants, disease prevention strategies, environmental health, health promotion, intimate relationships, alcohol and other drug responsibilities, mental health and wellness.
