Course Title：当代中国政治经济

This single credit course will introduce students to key aspects of contemporary China. Over eight 2 hour sessions, it will concentrate on the recent political history of the PRC, critical questions concerning the Chinese economy, the workings of China’s political system, demographic and environmental issues and China’s international relations. Students will be encouraged to engage in discussion and debate and complete a short examination on completion of the course.
