Introduction |
This course explores the intricate relationship between language and culture, emphasizing how language shapes and reflects cultural identities, values, and communication patterns. Through theoretical frameworks, case studies, and practical exercises, students will develop a deeper understanding of how language influences cross-cultural interactions in various contexts. Topics include cultural norms, values, communication styles, verbal and nonverbal communication across cultures, overcoming cross-cultural communication barriers, building intercultural relationships, and digital communication in cross-cultural contexts. This course also develops skills for effective communication in multilingual and multicultural settings. Each module includes interactive teaching and activities to ensure a practical, engaging learning experience. Key Objectives: 1.
